Your enrolment in a primary health organisation (PHO) like ProCare is voluntary. Most New Zealanders are, however, enrolled through their general practice and gain the benefits associated with belonging to a PHO, which can include cheaper doctor visits and reduced costs of prescription medicines. Enrolling with one practice not only means cheaper doctor visits but also means continuity of care, which means you get to be seen buy the same team who know you best. > Read more about PHOs
